The Liberating Scripture Collective

Scripture that
liberates rather
than controls.

We're a growing collective devoted to reading the Christian scriptures with honesty about power, trauma, liberation, and human dignity.

Liberating Scripture Collective is the people behind the work. Our flagship project is the LIT Bible—a trauma-informed, justice-oriented New Testament translation—which lives at litbible.net. This site is where the rest of what we do takes shape: podcasts, spiritual direction, courses, and the community that makes it a collective.
